MASTER OF HEALTH POLICY AND MANAGEMENT

The main aim of the Master of Health Policy and Management (MHPM) is training of competent public health and health professionals with provision of knowledge and skills in the field of policy and management, who will be able to formulate and implement health policies, recognize the characteristics of health management and manage public health programmes.

Outcomes: After completion of the MHPM study programme students will be able to formulate and implement health policies and to manage health service organizations and public health programmes. They will be empowered to accept critical application of different approaches and specific managerial skills and responsibilities in health sector. 

Title obtained after completion of MHPM: Master of Health Policy and Management

Prerequisites for enrolment: University degree completed studies in the field of medicine, low, economy, organization, philosophy and other disciplines (minimum 240 credits). The knowledge of English and computer literacy are also requested.

MHPM study programme could be realised in two years and worth 60 ECTS (6 obligatory courses 36 ECTS; 3 elective courses 12 ECTS; final exam 2 ECTS, and the thesis 10 ECTS. After completion of obligatory courses, students will select one of two tracks: Public Health Programme Management (PHPM) and Health Services Management (HSM). Each track has 3 elective courses. MHPM is completed by defending the thesis.
